The Köyceğiz Lake Delta is fed by this water. The lake tour starts on the shore of this water: two hours, four and a half kilometres, forty-five minutes to get there, and then a boat ride to the Sultaniye resort. Going there by boat is different, as is going to İztuzu. This is the quiet shore at the end of the peninsula. There are no pines, no birds, no motorboats. In summer the water is warm, and in winter the air is more crisp — both are beautiful in their own way.

The destination is Çandır, both from Köyceğiz and from Dalyan. When you see the lake on the map, it is natural to ask “where is the lake?”; the answer is the end of that path that leads out of the farm. Not the complex, the pier, or the mud area.
