From Sarigerme to Dalyan

Sarıgerme is a sandy beach; the horses are in Çandır. The road is about thirty kilometres, half an hour. One day at sea, one day on horseback. Don’t cram both into the same afternoon. Salt, sun, then the horse can get a bit too much; it’s better to cross the channel the next morning. When you leave the beach and feel like “since we’re so close, let’s ride the horses,” that enthusiasm on the field fades in the afternoon heat.

Those who come without a car can write about the town. Those with their own vehicles can use the navigation system to find Caunos Horses. The final step is the narrow canal, a short walk. The sea in Sarıgerme is a different experience, and the horses by the lake are another. Don’t compare the two; put them side by side, and you’ll have two days to enjoy them. In the morning, walk out onto the beach and make it to Çandır by noon. In the summer, this can be a bit of a rush.

If the children want a short farm ride after the beach, that can be arranged. Don't lock in the long lake tour for the same day; salt, sun, then horses. The next morning is better. Ortaca is a bit inland on the same line. Muğla is on a wider map. In summer, just tell us which day you want to book.
