Ortaca

Tour from Ortaca

Dalyan is a small town in Ortaca. Don’t look for a horse to ride in the town square; once you get off the bus and cross the canal, you’re in Çandır. The road from Ortaca to Dalyan is about twelve kilometers, a short distance. It’s fifteen to twenty minutes by canal from the town center — or they write to us and arrange a transfer.

Lake, spa or manor. Just write down the time. Going out in the morning and finishing by noon, and then wandering around the town is perfect for those staying in Ortaca. The roads are empty in summer, and even more so in winter. There’s not much traffic; the main problem is that people who are crossing for the first time ask “Where?” Once you’ve seen it, it’s easy to remember.

When you leave the district, the road goes down to the town, then to the canal, and from there to Çandır. It’s like a staircase. Don’t hurry; finish your breakfast, get some water. The afternoon is a bit heavier, with both asphalt and horses. A hat is useful. The children take short rides, the adults go by boat — the same gate, the same day.

Those coming from Sarigerme are also looking at the same gate, for about half an hour. The Dalaman airport line is also there. Horse riding in Muğla is the same gate, with a slightly larger map. For children, riding at the farm is gentler.

If you want to see the place, you can look at the map.
