Horse riding in Dalyan
Caunos Horses welcomes everyone who would like to ride in and around Dalyan. Our horses are very calm and well trained, and our professional team stays with you throughout the ride. Young children can also join when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our farm is across the canal, in Çandır, about 15–20 minutes from the centre of Dalyan.
The lake ride is about 2 hours (4.5 km), the hot-spring ride 1.5 hours (2.5 km), both together 3 hours (5.5 km). There is also riding at the farm, and a short ride for small children.
Our rides
Lake ride
We leave the farm on horseback for Köyceğiz Lake. The way out takes about 45 minutes. After a small stream we cross open sand into a green path. At the quiet shore we stop for half an hour and go into the lake with the horses, then return the same way.
Hot-spring ride
We ride from the farm and reach a natural spring in about half an hour. It is not a spa: no ticket, no cabin, no toilet. After a half-hour swim we ride back.
Lake + hot spring
First the lake ride: a stop on the shore and into the water with the horses. The same day we continue to the spring for a swim. It is the longest ride we do.
Riding at the farm
For those who want to ride without a trail. We use the arena and a set part of the yard: a walk, a first lesson, short rides for children. Time and pace follow the rider.

What is the difference between the lake and hot-spring rides?
The lake ride goes to Köyceğiz Lake, with a shore break and the option to enter the water with the horses. The hot-spring ride goes to a natural spring with a swimming break. Choose the combined ride for both experiences.
What should I wear and bring?
We recommend comfortable clothes, long trousers and closed shoes. Sunscreen, a hat, water and a towel for the swimming break may also be useful.
How do I get to the farm from Dalyan?
Our farm is in Çandır, across from Dalyan. It takes about 15–20 minutes from Dalyan centre. We can help with the ferry crossing and the final 600-metre walk when you book.
