Things to do in Dalyan

In Dalyan, the days are filled with water, history, and the beach. The land side of the list is a tour of the canals. You can cross the canal and descend to Çandır. You don’t have to fit everything into the same morning; when you spread it out over three days, each part is remembered more. The “To Do” lists sometimes look like a race. But to us, this isn’t a race.

Boat, rock tombs, Kaunos. İztuzu. Sultaniye or mud. Breakfast in Çandır – near Mavi Yasemin, then horseback riding. Lake, spa or manzara. If the kids are tired of the pool, a short farm ride. Dinner in the village, slow boat. That’s it. For a three-day plan to explore the three days. Places to see: Things to see in Dalyan.

They say sometimes to leave the work for the last day; if the weather is bad, you can postpone it. It’s also nice to finish it. Luggage on the first day, farewell on the last — leave it for later. The order changes. The important thing is not to pile up three heavy items on the same lunch hour. Then neither the grave nor the horse remain in the memory, only “we couldn’t do it.”

If you have two days, one should be for water and history, and the other for horseback riding or Iztuzu. If you have four days, leave one day free. That free day can be the best day of your trip. In summer, just say which day you have set aside for horseback riding, and the conversation will start.
